On the morning assembly, our school held a solemn and meaningful ceremony for the inauguration of the new student prefect for the new academic year. At the ceremony, the Principal, together with the Vice-Principal, officiated the appointment of the newly elected prefects, offering words of encouragement and presenting them with discipline sashes—a symbol of the passing on of responsibility and care.
Led by the head prefects, the prefects made a solemn pledge. They committed to “taking initiative and doing their duty with utmost diligence”, maintaining order on campus and serving fellow students with empathy. In his speech, the Principal urged the prefects to embody both “principle and warmth,” set a positive example, and called on all students to actively cooperate.
We look forward to the new term of the prefect team demonstrating strong team spirit and working together to create a harmonious and caring campus environment.
